Our tips

Peu de partants dans cette Classe 2 d’ouverture mais le choix reste difficile à faire. Timide en débutant sur le gazon de Salon-de-Provence, Texas Wood a montré un bien meilleur visage sur cette piste paloise, en gagnant son maiden en octobre et en confirmant dans une Classe 2 début décembre. Préservé depuis, il poursuit son programme dans le Béarn par le biais de ce bel engagement et s’annonce donc redoutable, même s’il va rendre du poids à ses adversaires.
La partie n’est pas gagnée pour autant avec la présence de New Run, un joli poulain qui n’a pas manqué à sa tâche pour ses premiers pas ici-même, faisant facilement la différence pour finir. Difficile de juger la qualité de la ligne mais au regard de l’impression laissée, une confirmation est attendue. Lauréate de son maiden sur ce parcours en novembre, Carcagny était très en vue dans le Critérium de Villeurbanne ensuite mais n’a pas réussi à se mettre en évidence. Ce vendredi, il faudra rassurer mais la voir jouer un bon rôle ne serait en rien une surprise. Enfin, pour compléter ce choix, gardons Madridista, qui n’a sans doute pas de marge mais effectue un début de carrière très sérieux. Avec une ligne droite un peu plus limpide, Magda aura son mot à dire.
