L'opposition au protégé de Christophe Ferland pourrait être conduite par Surabad, qui ne cesse de progresser et par Oracle, encore perfectible mais dont la marge est importante. Rafale Design, au mieux comme en témoigne son succès dans Prix Hocquart disputé au mois de mai sur l'hippodrome de Paris-Longchamp, Hotheaded, aux limites inconnues et Golden Weaver, non dénué de moyens, viendront en léger retrait.
