Alerte « GENERAL » !

Cette réunion se termine avec le prisé Prix de l’Orléanais, qui permet très souvent à de bons chevaux de faire leur rentrée. Cette année, cela sera encore le cas avec la présence de Général en Chef, troisième du Grand Steeple en 2024 et lauréat sur les haies de Compiègne pour sa seule sortie cette année. Excellent sur sa fraicheur et s’entendant à merveille avec Benjamin Gelhay, tout est réuni pour le voir briller dès ce jeudi, dans cette épreuve support du Z5.
Grand champion, vainqueur du «GS » en 2023, Rosario Baron a retrouvé un excellent niveau au printemps avant de connaitre un petit souci, l’empêchant de participer à la belle durant le mois de mai. Le voilà donc de retour à la compétition, avec du poids et sans doute pas au top de sa condition, mais avec l’ambition de tracer une fin de course solide. Pas si loin de notre favori au mois de mars à Compiègne, Okkido fera une nouvelle réapparition mais lui aussi court bien frais. Bien appliqué dans ses sauts, il a les moyens de compléter le podium, à voir avec File Au Poteau, en-dessous en valeur pure mais ce pensionnaire de Marcel Rolland peut suivre tous les trains et a couru durant l’été, Kolokico, assez incroyable dans le Grand Steeple au printemps mais peut-être celui qui a la moins bonne classe de haies parmi les chevaux de Groupes I au départ de ce rendez-vous ainsi qu’Hurrick des Obeaux, qui a avait obtenu des titres sérieux sur les balais en début de carrière.
