Dans cette bataille chez les steeple-chasers de 3 ans, notre préférence ira vers Métronomique, qui s'est imposé dès ses premiers pas dans la discipline sur ce parcours le 10 septembre en reléguant Mary Shelley à 7 longueurs ! Le poulain de l'écurie George & Zetterholm devra se défaire de Ma Star Sivola, préparée avec soin par François Nicolle pour ses premiers pas dans la discipline après deux bonnes prestations sur les balais, et de Koffe Komet, qui luttait pour le podium au moment de sa chute à la dernière haie dans le Prix Kargal à Auteuil.
