SPRING TRADITION didn't go unnoticed when fourth behind a progressive 3yo over a shorter trip a fortnight ago. He is effective over this extended distance and is back on his last-winning mark. ORANGE COUNTY and stablemate NEVER NEVER LAND are lighty raced geldings who should improve stretching out to 1600m after encouraging recent efforts over 1400m and 1450m, respectively. FIRE STORM is also open to further progress over this trip after a recent maiden victory over 1400m.
