Le duel annoncé ! Pour tenter de les départager, on peut penser notamment à In Love de l'Iton et à Ideal Four, tous deux idéalement situés en tête, à la limite du recul, mais aussi à Ivano Didan, évoluant dans sa catégorie, et à Indy Fligny, récent vainqueur. Idaho Phil, venant de manifester un très net regain de forme en terminant 2ème, pour son retour au sulky, et Impec de Bertrange, sur la foi de ce qu'il a pu réaliser l'an passé, tenteront de séduire les amateurs d'outsiders plus spéculatifs.
