Pieds nus pour la première fois de l'année (configuration dans laquelle il a gagné en décembre dernier à Nantes), Flirtini découvre une tâche à sa portée dans cette épreuve d'ouverture. Go The Best, pas incapable de frapper un grand coup s'il retrouve de la sagesse pour sa deuxième tentative sous la responsabilité de Mickaël Cormy, Gaston de Sauzette, dont la plus récente victoire a été obtenue avec Martine Callier (le 12 février à Saint-Galmier), et Gorazon, qui n'a toutefois pas réussi à gauche depuis un long moment, seront certainement les principaux rivaux du pensionnaire de Yoann Haret. Gomorro, qui brille surtout par son indiscipline pour l'instant en 2023, cherchera à rassurer en prenant une place.
