Oublions la plus récente sortie de Planting, le lot était bien trop relevé pour lui ce jour-là et reprenons-le sur ce qu’il a fait de mieux en s’appuyant notamment sur sa victoire de Craon en fin d’année dernière dans un terrain plus que pénible. Certes, il devra porter du poids dans ce réclamer mais il découvre une tâche qui semble à sa portée.
Pour lui barrer la route, on pourrait retrouver Vezzana, qui vient de se balader pour ses débuts sur le steeple du côté de Pontchâteau. Cette fois-ci, c’est Auteuil, il faudra peut-être moins en faire durant le parcours mais une confirmation est bien évidemment attendue. Bon deuxième sur ce tracé pour ses premiers pas sous la houlette de Sindy Marsch, Japelou Deciergues devrait encore une fois jouer un rôle actif pour le podium, à voir avec French Cancan, qui n’est pas toujours appliquée dans ses sauts mais qui vaut sans doute un réclamer de ce genre ou encore Caulfield, un peu mieux depuis qu’il a été orienté sur les gros obstacles.
