Même s'il devra rendre la distance, ce qui n'est jamais chose aisée à Cabourg, Iconoclaste Erable, une nouvelle fois présenté déferré des quatre pieds, ralliera logiquement de nombreux suffrages. Iggy des Rioults vient de s'imposer de toute une classe sur cette piste et lui sera directement opposé, avec le très bien engagé Idéal du Capmay, qui aura l'avantage de s'élancer au premier échelon. Confié à Yoann Lebourgeois, qui est un peu le maître des lieux à Cabourg, Instinct du Renard aura de légitimes ambitions, tout comme Iron Man d'Avril, capable du meilleur comme du pire. Idéo de Rep et Idéal de Bannes sont des outsiders plus que valables.
