En plein épanouissement à l'heure actuelle, Retort est en mesure de trouver son jour dans ce maiden. Toutefois, la partie n'est pas gagnée d'avance pour l'élève d'Henri-François Devin face à la présence du perfectible Adore Blue, certainement avantagé par le raffermissement du terrain et à celle du régulier Wathab, visiblement proche d'une première victoire. Yoken, qui s'est honorablement défendu lors de ses deux premières courses sur cette ligne droite et Mount Vernon, qui ne peut que progresser sur ses débuts, complèteront notre sélection.
