De retour au sulky, après avoir montré sa forme sous la selle en terminant 3ème, le partenaire d'Anthony Barrier, pour le compte de la casaque de Jean-Yves Rozé, doit avoir son mot à dire en vue de la victoire, à l'arrivée de cette Course D, support du ZE5 lavallois, qui va voir s'affronter des mâles au sulky âgés de six à dix ans, tous s'élançant à poteau égal, sur le parcours des 2.850 mètres. Peut même gagner, si tout se passe bien ! Avant coup, ses principaux rivaux pourraient bien être Hobbes, assurément capable du meilleur comme du pire, et le très tenace Flying Brickell, déferré des quatre pieds pour la circonstance, sans sous-estimer pour autant les candidatures des deux représentants de l'entraînement d'Enzo Szirmay, idéalement situés au plafond des gains, dans cette catégorie, à savoir Elixir et Gala de Crennes, tous deux plaqués aux antérieurs, qui n'auraient qu'à fournir leur valeur pour avoir le droit de s'illustrer, face à leur rivaux du jour. Derrière ce quintet majeur, First in Love, conservant encore de beaux ''restes'', et Forban, remarqué lors de sa récente fin de course à Amiens (5ème), tenteront de surprendre.
