Kristal Josselyn, son dauphin ce jour-là, ne sera toutefois pas un rival à prendre à la légère. Knockonwood, à reprendre après sa rapide disqualification du 2 septembre, et Keep Going, plaqué comme lors de sa très honorable septième place dans le récent Critérium des 3 Ans, peuvent aussi prétendre au podium, comme d'ailleurs Kompostel, qui n'avait pas terminé loin de Kristal Josselyn et de Knockonwood le 22 juillet à Enghien.
