Peu de partants dans cette épreuve mais c’est ouvert. Battue de peu par une compagne de couleurs en dernier lieu, Precious Sea découvre une nouvelle opportunité de renouer avec le succès. Il y a un peu d’opposition mais l’engagement est bon, cela pourrait suffire.
Pour cela, elle devra venir à bout de Cambronne, qui est le plus expérimenté et sans doute le plus titré au départ de cette épreuve. Au papier, c’est bien évidemment une chance pour la victoire mais il a de la fraicheur et risque donc de se montrer allant, ce qui est forcément un souci sur cette distance un peu longue pour ses aptitudes, ce n’est pas écrit qu’il gagne ce jeudi. Même s’il fait sa rentrée, Al Barq mérite un assez large crédit d’entrée de jeu, lui qui a une véritable aptitude pour les pistes en sable. Vainqueur de son événement en dernier lieu, L’Acajou monte de catégorie mais il aura pour lui sa belle condition du moment, une place est envisageable.
