De retour à son meilleur niveau, Iliano des Plaines évolue certainement en retard de gains et apprécie particulièrement ce type de tracés. S'il bénéficie d'une course limpide, il a le droit de s'imposer ici, malgré la présence des bons sprinteurs Into the Mystic et Iron d'Espoir, tous deux capables de finir très vite si l'épreuve est suffisamment rythmée et qu'ils peuvent placer leur belle pointe de vitesse finale. Bien que meilleur gaucher, Haka n'est pas hors d'affaires pour une place sur le podium. En tête, Idéal de Bannes, qui vient de montrer sa forme, peut tirer son épingle du jeu, tout comme Haro Darche ou encore Heaven Julry, valant mieux que ne l'indiquent ses plus récentes prestations.
