Bon quatrième à Cavaillon, le 18 juin, alors qu’il évoluait ferré, Kabriel s’annonce redoutable sans ses « baskets », d’autant qu’il est bien garé derrière l’autostart avec le numéro 3. Confirmé avec David Békaert et déjà vu à son avantage à Hyères, Kasimodo est capable de se réhabiliter, même « chaussé », son entraîneur ayant renseigné un émoji vert. King’s Day est globalement régulier et n’aura contre lui que de s’élancer d’une position peu enviable. En forme, comme l’atteste sa récente victoire, Kernel de Nuit, second atout de David Cinier, semble compétitif pour un bon classement, de même que Karta King, sur la montante, Kalinka Gédé, qui s’était bien comportée dans un lot similaire, ici même, le 1er mai, et Koldima d’Aut, jugée sur sa deuxième place du 11 mai sur cette piste.
