Ketch d’Estruval a chuté à deux reprises en trois tentatives sur le steeple. Cependant, lorsqu’il a bouclé son parcours, il s’est imposé avec une certaine aisance. Il serait donc hasardeux de ne pas le retenir en tête dans un lot comme celui-ci. En vue dans des handicaps bien composés sur les balais, à l’automne, Krug du Seuil n’a pu s’illustrer à Cagnes et n’a pas été revu depuis. Supplémenté, il convient de s’en méfier, d’autant que les pensionnaires de Mickaël Seror marchent sur l’eau. Autre atout « Lageneste-Macaire », l’inédit Porz Even sera surveillé de près. De retour dans la spécialité de sa dernière victoire, Battle Connexion peut faire oublier sa récente contre-performance enregistrée en haies, sur cet hippodrome. Pour ses débuts sur les gros obstacles, Garepena de la Vic ne doit pas être négligé, car il a montré qu’il était un sauteur valable lors de ses premiers sorties.
