Débutons cette réunion par une épreuve de bon niveau, réservée à la jeune génération. Même s'ils n'ont pas été revus en course depuis le mois de juin, Liberty du Mortier et Leviathan Santmixo semblent avoir la marge nécessaire pour rendre la distance et composer le jumelé de ce tournoi. Attention toutefois à L'Etoile de Pame, qui profite donc d'un avantage de vingt-cinq mètres sur nos favoris, et retrouve Serge Peltier à son sulky. En progrès, Let It Be Pipol peut faire parler sa tenue pour participer à l'arrivée, comme La Primavera, laquelle, bien que versant le long de la lice, s'est placée dans une course de même niveau pour l'ouverture du meeting. Après avoir tenté sa chance sur l'hippodrome de la Côte d'Azur, Lilly de Gouye trouve l'opportunité d'enrichir son compte en banque.
