Our tips

King du Maffray n’a pas encore trouvé le chemin du succès mais ses deux dernières sorties sont très encourageantes, dans des lots qui tenaient la route. Certes, il devra porter du poids et va courir rapproché ce jeudi mais on le sent sur la pente ascendante. Pour son premier handicap, il pourrait mettre tout le monde d’accord !
Après des tentatives timides, The Wild Rover a montré un bien meilleur visage lors de sa plus récente sortie à Clairefontaine, dans un réclamer guère aussi bien composé que ce handicap. Il faudra confirmer mais avec son petit poids en bas de tableau, il fait figure d’outsider séduisant. Sans doute plus très loin d’un bon résultat, Klimt des Pictons va lui aussi découvrir cette catégorie avec des ambitions, aidé par la décharge de son partenaire et par le piste roulante du jour. Même s’il ne dépend pas d’une écurie habituée à avoir des chevaux en obstacle, Vulcanio a sûrement assez d’atouts dans son jeu pour envisager un accessit ce jeudi comme Kelonia, qui n’allait pas si mal au moment de sa lourde chute à Vittel. Elle reste difficile à cerner mais la voir se placer n’aurait rien d’une surprise.
