Il faudra surveiller de près Zebedy, qui vient d'ouvrir son palmarès à Mont-de-Marsan en dominant nettement Loup Sauvage, et le débutant Lugano, façonné par Thomas Fourcy. Il faudra reprendre First Lily Pecos, qui a enlevé deux courses à Dax au mois de juin mais a déçu depuis. Attention à Louxor Pontadour, absente depuis ses débuts honorables du mois de mars à Tarbes, et à Salma, préparée par Kevin Tavares pour ses premiers pas en compétition.
