Starnberg a débuté sa carrière par une victoire sur ce parcours, le faisant dans un style intéressant ce jour-là. Certes, la ligne est difficile à juger puisque ses adversaires n’ont pas recouru depuis mais il semble avoir un peu de qualité et pourrait donc garder son invincibilité.
La menace viendra sûrement des deux représentants de Jean-Pierre Dubois, à commencer par Shooting, qui progresse au fil de sorties et vient d’ouvrir son palmarès à Borély. Pratique à monter, il devrait faire galoper un moment notre favori comme Iowa City, qui méritait son succès marseillais dernièrement. Ce lundi, elle aura les poulains sur sa route mais offre assez de garanties pour jouer le podium. Enfin, complétons ce choix avec Donegal, qui a gagné son maiden à Deauville mais n’a pas répété ensuite. Pas facile à placer avec sa valeur, il sera vu en léger retrait ici.
