En cas de défaillance de notre favori, le "blondinet" Kuros Pont Vautier, auteur d'un splendide dernier kilomètre à Mauquenchy pour s'imposer sur le fil, peut briguer la plus haute marche du podium. Remarqué aussi pour sa fin de course dans une épreuve référence, Koppert Cress sera pour la première fois associé à un cash driver preuve de ses ambitions. Prompt à s'élancer, Kador d'Ourville peut profiter de cet avantage pour viser une place comme Konfinement, malgré l'inexpérience de son propriétaire au sulky, Kopa Vrie, allégé pour la première de sa carrière, ou Kantaro du Trésor, dont il convient se méfier.
