Support du Z5, le pari spéculatif de ZEturf, cette bataille chez les trotteurs d'âge pourrait tourner à l'avantage de l'élève de Sébastien Ernault Heaven Star, qui a déjà gagné à huit reprises corde à droite. Déferré des antérieurs et piloté par Eric Raffin comme lors de ses deux dernières victoires à Saint-Brieuc, il devra repousser les assauts du 6 ans Iquem D'Amer, qui reste sur quatre victoires corde à gauche mais a hérité d'un numéro piège derrière les ailes de la voiture, et Ioupy Tolleville, titré, qui doit rassurer son entraîneur en dépit de son numéro en deuxième ligne derrière les ailes de la voiture.
