Bien qu'effectuant une rentrée, l'invaincu Lutin de la Besvre est à suivre d'emblée dans cette épreuve. Toutefois, la partie n'est pas gagnée d'avance pour le pensionnaire de Jérémy Koubiche face à la présence de Latinus Avis, auteur d'un probant retour sur cette piste après une absence de plusieurs mois et déferré des quatre pieds pour la première fois et à celle de Let It Snow, des moyens mais qui demeure encore assez caractériel. Leader Winner, en progrès, L'Hémencourt, sur la bonne voie et Let It Out, régulier dans l'ensemble, viseront plus un accessit.
