Même uniquement plaqué, Lord Tolleville paraît capable de confirmer sa superbe victoire cherbourgeoise du 6 avril en gagnant de nouveau. Pour ce faire, l'élève d'Erno Szirmay devra notamment devancer Le Petit Jeu, qui n'a pas grand chose à se reprocher pour l'instant, Lennon Ellis, sur le podium lors de deux de ses trois dernières prestations, Le Don Juan, pieds nus après une première tentative plutôt honorable, Loulou Boy, qui rentre sur le tracé de son unique succès, et Lapacho du Fier, à ne pas sous-estimer dans ce lot. Lightning, sans ses chaussures aux postérieurs pour sa deuxième sortie de l'année, et Laperouse, avec un parcours dans les jambes cette fois, essaieront de brouiller les cartes pour un accessit.
