Une nocturne estivale sur l'hippodrome des Sables d'Olonne qui débute par une épreuve intéressante, réservée aux seuls 6 ans. Jugé sur ses deux récentes victoires sur le gazon, Isario Venesi devrait rallier de nombreux suffrages, même s'il monte une nouvelle fois de catégorie. Plus confirmé corde à droite, Izio d'Echal vient pourtant de bien se comporter sur la piste de Pornichet, et découvre un engagement de choix, avec Eric Raffin aux commandes. Italica, qui ne peut pas faire le tour des autres et doit compter sur un bon parcours, ou Isengrine Absolute, qui vient de boucler son dernier kilomètre à La Capelle sur le pied de 1'12", sont de sérieuses candidates pour compléter le podium. Ensuite, citons la délicate Ischia, et Icône Pont Vautier, laquelle doit aussi rester sage, pour participer à l'arrivée.
