Our tips
Balmoral Lady n’est pas de tous les jours et reste d’ailleurs sur deux échecs mais c’était dans des lots plus forts. Lauréate de sa listed en mai à Haydock, en battant la bonne No Half Mesures, elle débarque en France avec de solides ambitions et l’aide de Christophe Soumillon, qui saura sans doute préserver sa pointe de vitesse, sur cette distance limite pour ses aptitudes.
Attention également aux trois ans, à commencer par Daylight, qui n’a pas encore gagné cette année mais connait cette ligne droite comme sa poche et monte en puissance. Toute proche de Cacofonix lors de ses deux plus récentes tentatives, elle pourrait prendre sa revanche sur le poulain de l’écurie Wertheimer, qui vient de montrer qu’il pouvait très bien faire sur 1.200 mètres en remportant le Prix Moonlight Cloud. S’attaquant à forte partie ce samedi mais dure à l’effort, en forme et surtout très régulière, Rosy Affair sera en embuscade pour profiter de la moindre défaillance.
