Un superbe Prix Hubert de Navailles, qui a réuni toute la crème du cross palois et s’annonce donc très ouvert. Dans ce contexte, tentons un petit coup de poker avec celui qui a le moins d’expérience dans la discipline mais dont la qualité est évidente, Kouroukoukou, éblouissant en fin d’hiver dernier, posant ses jalons pour cet hiver. C’est une rentrée, c’est une première à ce niveau mais ses limites sont totalement inconnues. Idéalement placé au poids et associé à Clément Lefebvre, qui semble adorer son partenaire, le pari est amusant.
Maître des lieux, le triple-vainqueur du « Gaston de Bataille », Hip Hop Conti fera son retour avec du poids mais le cheval d’Emmanuel Clayeux est généralement prêt à faire feu d’entrée de jeu. Si tout se passe bien, il devrait d’ores et déjà être dans le match pour les premières places. Deuxième de la belle l’hiver dernier et déjà affûtée, puisqu’elle compte quatre sorties durant le second semestre, Ici Avrilly tentera de rompre l’hégémonie Clayeux comme Saint Godefroy, qui a perdu son sceptre de roi du Pont-Long depuis l’arrivée d’Hip Hop Conti, mais qui ne va pas s’avouer vaincu comme ça et tentera d’ailleurs de défendre son titre dans ce Prix Hubert de Navailles, associé à Thomas Beaurain pour l’occasion.
