Venu fort dans la montée, le cheval de Thierry Duvaldestin a subi le démarrage d'Hohneck dans le tournant final mais il est revenu l'attaquer et l'a même dépassé avant de désunir, se mettant au galop aux abord du poteau. Quel dommage mais c'est tout de même une très belle valeur pour lui !
