Poulain utile présenté par la famille Duvaldestin, Kaïd des Bosc sera déferré des quatre pieds pour la première fois. Associé à Théo Duvaldestin, il évolue certainement en retard de gains, et portera logiquement le costume de favori. Bien que s'élançant en seconde ligne, Kooper du Choquel a fourni une bonne valeur sur le parcours du jour, dans un lot de bonne facture. Seul partant d'Anthony Duperche, King du Chêne s'est bien comporté dans une course référence fin avril, devançant Khéops des Valois, lequel a hérité cette fois d'un excellent numéro derrière l'autostart. Entraîné en Belgique, Kéfir Cohiais a demandé à souffler à La Capelle, après avoir fait le tour du peloton au dernier kilomètre, attention à ses efficaces allures rasantes. Autres concurrents entraînés à l'étranger, Kansas Castelets et Koos Koets viendront ensuite devant Klyde Galaa, déferré des postérieurs pour la première fois.
