Pour atteindre sa cible, il va devoir toutefois venir à bout du petit poucet Jabiru Boy, qui rattrape le temps perdu depuis plusieurs semaines. Jugé sur son chrono d'1'13''9 réalisé sur les 2700 mètres du Mont-Saint-Michel, le 26 juin, Jéricho du Rib mérite un très large crédit. Jilbour Defontaine vient de prouver sa forme à deux reprises sur l'herbe. Job du Cébé, qui reste sur un trophée, et Jack du Pont, qui s'est classé deuxième pour son unique sortie sur cette piste, seront vus ensuite.
