Le lot semble bien plus ouvert que dans la première…Timidement, tentons de faire confiance à Amilcar, qui n’est peut-être le vrai miler mais le cheval est en forme avancée, ayant gagné sa listed à Deauville cet hiver, et a l’avantage de pouvoir se monter proche de la tête. Il peut en profiter pour ajouter une nouvelle ligne à son palmarès.
Redoutable finisseur, Wally ne devra pas tomber sur une course trop tactique mais en qualité, il a largement les moyens de lutter pour la victoire ici, d’autant qu’il est invaincu sur le sable (deux sorties seulement). N’oublions pas Egot, bien évidemment, mais pour une réapparition, le voyage pourrait lui paraitre un peu long pour finir, le mile étant vraiment le bout du monde. Enfin, Harper, qui a enchainé les excellentes prestations l’an dernier, fera sa rentrée sur une surface qui n’est pas sa meilleure mais ses premiers objectifs devraient vite arriver, méfiance donc.
