Venant de beaucoup mieux courir que ne l'indique son classement en dernier lieu à Cagnes-sur-Mer, Grisbi de Carvel, encore en net retard de gains, doit pouvoir retrouver le chemin du succès ici, bien qu'étant chaussé. En cas de défaillance de sa part, il faut penser à Hunter de la Côte, absolument irréprochable ces dernières semaines, mais également à Havatar, à l'aise à main droite et compétitif même avec ses fers. Galopin Fontaine, à reprendre impérativement, et Hulk de la Vallée viseront plutôt un accessit.
